Announcing AIM's New
Preschool Readiness Enrichment Program
"PREP"
AIM is excited to announce the February opening of our private pay inclusion program, designed for all children from 18 months to 3 years, 11 months. This will be in addition to our current California Early Start program for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
Beginning February 16, 2010, AIM will add this inclusion program, designed for children with or without developmental delays, to its current curriculum, running 2 days per week, from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. There will be a 4 to 1 child to teacher ratio. AIM intends to expand this program to include ages 4 to 5, providing a Kindergarten Readiness curriculum soon.
The initial registration fee for PREP is $75 with a monthly fee of $356. To register, you may call (408) 559-1400, email: aimkids@aimkids.org, or send by U.S. post your request to register. AIM understands the vital importance of providing stimulating experiences during your child's first 3 years of life. Our Preshool Readiness Enrichment Program is designed to enhance your child's development in a friendly, nurturing environment. Our language rich curriculum will address all 5 developmental domains: Communication, Cognition, Motor, Self-Help, and Social. AIM staff are qualified and experienced, and will offer your child the opportunity to experiment through art, circle time, story time, turn taking, and peer and teacher directed play. This is an inclusion program for which all children within the age range are welcome.
Staff: The program is staffed by highly qualified individuals with degrees or certificates in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related fields, and is managed by a teacher with an MA in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Special Education. All staff members have experience working with children of this age group, both with and without special needs, and are trained in infant/toddler, child and adult CPR, and first aid.

Beautiful, sunny weather greeted this year's Holiday Boutique. We invited many new vendors and had the best donation drawing ever, with the grand prize being a night at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. Many thanks to all of our guests and vendors who graciously donated to and participated in this event.
